I am thankful for the lady who has spent 24 years tolerating me.  We have had highs and lows but we have made it through.

I am thankful for my boys.  The Older is a challenge everyday but he is a bundle of love and he brings me to earth and reminds me to be grateful for all that I have.  The Younger is my sunshine.  He makes every day with him interesting.

I am thankful for The Oldest Brother and Wife and for their efforts to find ways to include us in their lives as we face our challenges.  Their patience, love, understanding and help are appreciated more than these words can ever express.

I am thankful for the love of  The Second Brother and Wife, The Kid Sister and Husband.  I count myself fortunate to have wonderful siblings and I am glad they have the wonderful partners they have in their lives.

I am thankful that Nephew One, Nephew Two and The Niece as such good and caring people.  I am proud to be their Uncle and in awe of the job their parents did raising them.

I am thankful that G and M have found such special women to spend their lives with.

I am thankful that M & M, JP & K, and PD are a part of our lives.

I am thankful that my friends have all made it through the year past in good health and in good shape.

I am thankful that CRF is well and recovered and such a vibrant, loving and caring  part of our lives.  I am thankful for the ever-growing friendship with The Husband.  I am thankful that they found each other.

I am thankful that I found within me the dedication and drive to focus my life on my health and fitness and I am thankful for the encouragement of my friends and family and for their love.

I am thankful for PGB and MT and their patience as we went on our hikes early on and their patience as all I talked about was weight loss.

I am thankful that SA and MA are our friends and for the incredible people that they are.

I am thankful for the friendship we share with MT and LG.

I am thankful that I am out of the hell-hole company I thought was so good a year ago…

I am thankful for the people who call me on my foolishness and still tolerate me

I am thankful for the friendships that have lasted more than thirty years, uninterrupted by distance and time. KE, JK, SS, MTT, KR.

I am thankful for the friendships with people I knew long ago but are my friends now.

I am thankful for the friend who has pushed me and challenged me and was doing so for two years before I finally listened. And has only rarely said “I told you so.”

I am thankful for my Surgeon who cleaned up my knee and got me back on my bike.

I am thankful for everyone who understands our lives and finds ways to flex to keep us in their lives

I am thankful for the girl with the yellow rose who has been my friend for 37 years.  There is simply no way to put words to a friendship such as ours.  She knows and that is all that matters.

I am thankful that my family and friends have been and will continue to be there for me and know that I am always there for them no matter what, no matter when.

  2. I am thankful that you write your blog bc it is one of the many pieces in the puzzle that inspires me in my fitness goals and bc it is part of the many pieces in the puzzle inspiring my partner into a healthier life (she was 200lbs but has now lost 7lbs in 4 weeks) so that she can hopefully be around much longer into our old age.

  3. I’m thankful that I met you early in my blogging journey and for the encouragement you’ve given me along the way.
